… Digital House.
We recently asked for suggestions to name our building at 14 Bark Street East, Bolton. Seeing as pretty much everything we do these days is digitally developed (forgive me, but as someone ‘with experience’ I still remember the days pre-digital – a concept that some of the younger team members at D-ROOM sometimes struggle with), ‘Digital House’ seemed quite apt.
So from now on our address will be:
Digital House
14 Bark Street East
Bolton
BL1 2BQ

An interesting article appeared this week suggesting UK companies are missing out on much of the European market by not translating their websites.
The report states that ‘Research by Eurobarometer, which surveyed 13,700 internet users across 27 EU member countries, found that just 18pc of respondents reported buying online in a language other than their own “frequently or all the time,” while 42pc said they never do so.’

D-ROOM have helped Tonge Action Group get their community based website online. The site is a resource for the local community and a place to share ideas, stories, videos and the like. As such, we developed it around an impressive yet easy to use content management system (CMS). Launched at the end of March, the site has proved very popular and is certainly worth a visit at www.tongeonline.co.uk

New business start-up MyOwnMidwife (MOM) needed a new brand image and website to allow them to hit the ground running. The team at MOM had a clear objective of what they wanted to achieve and D-ROOM helped them to turn this in to reality.
As Colette from MOM said:
“As a new business we needed professional website and logo design at a competitive price, and which fulfilled our brief with a bit of creative vision. D-Room did just that. Our logo was inspired simplicity itself! The website looks great and we have had many compliments on our professional business image. We were also advised on the all important ‘optimisation’ of our website, which stood us in good stead – we are now near the top of Google on relevant business searches. Many thanks to Paul and Stuart.”

Bolton based sign manufacturer and installer Bolton Sign required a new website to better showcase their product range. As well as being visually stunning the website needed to function across a range of browsers and help Bolton Sign gain increased search engine positioning for their chosen key phrases.
The website went ‘live’ at the start of 2011 and has been very well received by the signage industry and potential clients and as a consequence has increased overall awareness of the Bolton Sign brand, showing that a great website is an invaluable marketing tool in todays financial climate.
To find out how D-ROOM Digital Marketing Solutions can help build your new website click on our contact page and give us a call.
“A lot of what Bolton Sign produce is very visual as well as technically challenging and we wanted a website that would showcase our products in an easy to navigate manner as well as provide increased presence on the search engines.
“After listening to our ideas D-ROOM came though with a fantastic website that functions brilliantly and looks completely different from our competitors. With it’s new ‘wow’ look, the new site is now an integral part of our our marketing and I would definitely recommend D-ROOM to anyone wanting a truly bespoke internet presence.”
